Electrical & Electronics Branch deals with two streams of engineering i.e., Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Electrical Engineering deals with generation, distribution and utilization of Electrical Power and Power Control & Instrumentation applications. Electronics Engineering deals with the applications of electronics in the fields of communications, control systems, microprocessors, industrial electronics, instrumentation and integrated circuits, etc.

    Experienced faculty coupled with very well established laboratories facilitate maximization of learning skills in the students.

A complete network used to transmit electrical-energy from generating station to consumer premises is called power system. Protective Relay is a device which is designed to trip circuit breaker when a fault is detected hence forms the heart of the power system.
In this seminar Professor explained about the working , specifications and classifications of protective relays with some practical examples thus providing knowledge to the students in core electrical field.
