Mission:

  • Our Mission is to achieve excellent academic result, provide environment to develop skill in trouble shooting of Electrical Equipments, all-round personality development, communication & presentation skill etc.
    Ideal candidate should have attitude and interest to learn in the area of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

    During the course students study subjects like Mechatronics, Transmission, Distribution and Utilization of power , Telecommunication, Control systems, Microprocessor, Integrated circuits etc. They also take up several small projects, one major project and undergo in-plant training. Several guest lectures are arranged to provide additional knowledge.

    Department has experienced faculty coupled with established laboratory facility to maximize learning skill.

Opportunities :
very good opportunities for employment in Public, Private and IT sector. In addition, scope for self employment exists.

Higher Studies :
Students can pursue their careers in Bachelor of Engineering course. Karnataka students can get lateral entry admission to 3rd year of Engineering Course through DCET.

1).Guest lecture (Webinar) presented by Dr. Raghavendraprasad Deshapande, Asst Prof., GSSSIETW, MYSORE on 28/5/21
Subject: A Practical approach to enhance learning skills of diploma students in Higher learning institutions.
2) Induction program was arranged from 12/11/20 for 15 days for first year students
3) Guest lecture on “Power plant effluents, its impact and uses” by Dr Vinayak Rao, Prof. dept. of E&E, RIT, Bangalore, on 25/2/2021
4) Guest lecture on “Substation Transformer” by Dr. Ramakrishna, Prof. dept. of E&E, RIT, Bangalore, on 11/2/2021
5) Industrial visit to Nelamangala Sub-station for final year students arranged on 11/3/2020
