Our Mission is to achieve excellent academic result, provide environment to develop skill in trouble shooting of Electrical Equipments, all-round personality development, communication & presentation skill etc.
Ideal candidate should have attitude and interest to learn in the area of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
During the course students study subjects like Mechatronics, Transmission, Distribution and Utilization of power , Telecommunication, Control systems, Microprocessor, Integrated circuits etc. They also take up several small projects, one major project and undergo in-plant training. Several guest lectures are arranged to provide additional knowledge.
Department has experienced faculty coupled with established laboratory facility to maximize learning skill.
Opportunities :
very good opportunities for employment in Public, Private and IT sector. In addition, scope for self employment exists.
Higher Studies :
Students can pursue their careers in Bachelor of Engineering course. Karnataka students can get lateral
entry admission to 3rd year of Engineering Course through DCET.

Departmental Activities During 2023-24
1) An industrial visit to Mother Dairy. An unit of Karnataka Co-operative Milk Producers Federation Limited, Yelahanka New Town by
5th semester students accompanied by staff members on 27th July 2024.
2) An industrial visit to KPTCL 400KV/220KV Nelamangala sub station on 29th August 2024 by 3rd semester students and 11th September 2024 by 5th semester students.
3) Government Tool Training Centre (GTTC) conducted a two day training program on 29th & 30th August 2024 in focusing on programmable logic controller,
HΜΙ and SCADA systems and provided hands on experience with these systems. The participants include final year students of Electrical and Electronics Industrial
Automation pathway.
4) Guest lecture by Prof. Dr. Chandrashekhar Badachi on the topic Electrical vehicle on 25th July 2024.
5) Guest lecture by Prof. Dr. Shreedhar on the topic Electrical vehicle on 25th July 2024.
