Mission:
To develop students multi faceted design capabilities related to the area of Textile & Clothing. To develop analysis, communication, presentation skills on fashion, Fashion trends, Merchandising & Fashion growth. This course encourages students to develop skills in product development by using design elements, from procurement of fabric to its creative conversion into products which includes Men's, Women's, Children's, accessories & house hold articles.

b) Seminar on Theatre & performing art education in United States: A personal perspective was held at RUAS (Ramaiah university of Applied Sciences) peenya campus on 16th August 2019 for 5th SEM students.
c) 5th SEM students and staff has participated in the one day state level seminar on “ Textile waste management and Recycling” organized by the department of Fashion design, faculty of Art and design, Ramaiah university of Applied Sciences held on 17th October 2019
d) 7th August 1st and 2nd year students attended programme on national handloom day at KASSSIA Hall Vijayanagar, Bangalore.
e) Seminar on 11th October 2019, Prof sirkanth payal (Head corporate Relation &placement RIM) addressed the 5th SEM students on the topic “Career opportunities.”
f) Seminar on 18th October 2019, Prof. Veena from RIM institute addressed the 5th SEM students on the topic “Set the goal for Personal Development.” and “Develop Good Habits to Overcome Stress.”
