Mission :
To achieve 100% result by making understanding simpler, using models, experiments & teach student about himself through interactive sessions etc. The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering aims at imparting students with strong 'technical skills in the design, development and manufacturing of electronic devices and systems. To ensure high standards of learning, the Dept. has well-equipped laboratories and extremely talented and experienced faculty.

Tremendous opportunities span across public and private sectors in Testing, Servicing and Installation in the field of Electronics and communication, Industrial Electronics and Instrumentation specific.
Higher Studies :
After successful completion of diploma, Karnataka students can take Bachelor of Engineering courses under lateral entry
scheme.

Departmental Activities During 2022-23
1) Presentation on the topic” The Amazing World Of Electronics & Communication
“ was given by Sri.T.Shankar -Technical Advisor on 07.08.23 for 1st semester students..
2) A Seminar on the topic”Introduction to Electronic Sensors & their Applications”
was delivered by Sri.T.Shankar -Technical Advisor on 16.9.23 for 3rd & 5th semester students
3) Presentation on the topic “ Virtual Reality “ was organized for all streams of final year &
the presenters were Mr.Varda- Director, San Protocols & Mr.T. Shankar- Technical Advisor
4) Scada training at GTTC was CONDUCTED FROM 10TH TO 13TH OCTOBER for the students of 5th semester E&C.
5) Presentation on the topic "Robotics" by Sri.Shankar – Technical Advisor for 3rd & 5th semester students on 18.10.23 was arranged
6) Industrial visit to BAMUL, at Kanakapura was arranged on 19.10.23 For the students of 5th semester E&C.
7) Presentation on the topic "Robotics- 2" by Sri.Shankar – Technical Advisor was arranged on 27.10.23 for the students of 5th & 3rd semester.
8) A seminar on the topic “Renewable Energy”Scenario in India” was delivered bySmt. Priyanka Murthy_ AGM at
Ampyr Energy on Saturday,4.11.23 for the students of 3rd & 5th semester .
9) Presentation on the topic "Robotics- 3" by Sri.Shankar – Technical Advisor was arranged on 10.11.23 for the students of 5th & 3rd semester.
10) Presentation by 2nd Semester students on technical topics under the guidance of Prof. Shankar on 27.04.23 at 3:30 pm.
11) Presentation by a company regarding internship training on 21.11.23 was arranged.
12) Presentation cum interview by Gabriel India Limited regarding APPRENTICE /OJT TRAINING ROLE was arranged on 30.3.24 at our polytechnic.
13) Dr.Uma Arun- Professor, RIT has delivered a presentation on the topic “ Mobile Communication “on 12.4.24 for 4th semester E&C students.
